The department of Information Systems offers a curriculum that is inspired directly from the Saudi job market. It aspires to produce information systems engineers with high technical qualifications that are adequate to the governmental agencies and companies needs in the area of information systems.

The department was established to participate in satisfying the market’s need of computer professionals as part of its ambitious aim to provide the local region with qualified computer specialists to keep up with the ongoing demands.

The field of information has begun as a field that includes library sciences until the information prevailed, its strength and its importance became dominant. Accordingly, the majority of libraries in many universities, institutes and colleges in different countries of the world have shifted to focu
