The college is currently employing 230 academic staff members to teach to 3500 students with the aim of achieving the college’s sublime vision and mission.
Overview
The UQU College of Computer and Information Systems was established in 1426 A.H. The college includes three academic departments: Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Systems. All these departments grant the bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering and computer science.
The college is internationally accredited, as it has obtained ABET International Academic Accreditation.
Objectives
- Preparing highly qualified and specialized national cadres in the fields of computer science, computer engineering, and information systems.
- Working on developing and updating the college’s academic plans in line with global developments, while paying attention to the technical and applied aspects of study and practical training programs.
- Assigning greater attention to and promoting the literary, academic and technical skills of students, and providing them with outstanding qualifications according to their specialties.
- Providing the opportunity for distinguished graduates to complete their postgraduate studies in the college's specializations.
- Extending support to and encouraging scientific research in all technical and applied disciplines of the college.
