Dr. Al-Saeed Dardara, Associate Professor in the Department of Education and Psychology, delivered an interactive lecture entitled, "Preparation for the Proficiency Test in the Field of Psychology", which covered the topics of learning theories, advising and guidance, and the psychology of growth.
In the first part of the lecture, he introduced the psychology of learning, examining the most important learning theories and their applications in the educational field.
The second part of the lecture dealt with advising and guidance, in which he focused on the ethical and educational principles of psychological counseling, the most important theories in the field of advising and guidance, and therapeutic applications in the field of student care.
The third part of the lecture briefly explained the stages of growth, tackling the psychological needs required at each stage of growth.
The lecture ended with a Q&A session in which Dr. Al-Saeed Dardara answered the students' questions. He concluded his lecture by giving some behavioral guidance to students.
