In participation of the October Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign at the College of Computing in Al-Qunfudhah (female section), under the supervision of the Department of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah and in cooperation with the Computer Club and the joint first year students, an event was held entitled, "Be Aware: Have a Checkup Now for Your Safety".

A lecture was delivered on Tuesday morning, 16 Safar 1441 A.H., at 10:00 a.m., by Dr. Fatima Al-Shardi to explain the importance of early detection, the most important causes of the disease, and the locations in Al-Qunfudhah where the mammogram device is available for early detection. Awareness corners were prepared, and students and health specialists participated in the event.
