The second week of Safar of the academic year 1441 A.H. left an outstanding effect because it witnessed various activities that were held by the different clubs, under the auspices and support of the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs with the follow up of the Vice Dean of Student Affairs (female section) and the Guidance and Advising Unit "Ishraqat Amal". On Monday morning, 8 Safar 1441 A.H., Dr. Sahar Al-Sa`di offered a training course at the college theater, entitled, "Psychological Needs of Female Teenagers and Dispute-Resolving Methods". During this lecture, she defined the teenage stage, its characteristics and problems, and offered female students some useful and important messages and advice to deal with this stage. She also granted female attendants approved attendance certificates.
As for the club, it held its weekly meeting under the supervision of Dr. Shadhiliyah Al-Sayed on Wednesday morning at the college extension, in which the topic of values and morals were tackled. This activity was presented by the female student at the Department of Arabic Language, Rinad Al-Kinani.
On the same day, Ghiras Al-Amal Voluntary Club held an educative campaign entitled, "Preserving it is a Blessing". This campaign aimed at increasing the awareness among female students about the importance of not wasting food, and thanking Allah for His bounties. In the course of this campaign, she distributed a number of baskets teaching how to preserve leftovers as well as a number of educative brochures, under the auspices of Ms. Taqwa Bashah and a number of female students at the Department of English Language.
During this week, the Digital Club announced a competition entitled, "Drawing Innovation in Mathematics", under the supervision of Aliyah Al-Zubaidi. The result of the competition will be announced on 21 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1441 A.H., and financial awards have been allocated for the first three winners.
Liyaqah Sports Club, which is supervised by Ms. Rahmah Al-Shamarani, announced the beginning of free registration in a number of sports.
The activities of this week ended on Thursday morning, 11 Safar, 1441 A.H., with a lecture on "Forming Characters" offered by Dr. Sahar Al-Sa`di from the Guidance and Advising Unit (Ishraqat Amal). The lecture explained people's character and their traits, the role of the family in forming them, forming a person's character, and the manner of forming positive ties with others. Approved attendance certificates were granted at the end of the lecture.
