His Excellency the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Muhammad bin Mar`i Al-Hazimi, presented a training course entitled "Letter Editing and Writing Skills" for the administration employees of Al-Qunfudhah University College. The course consisted of two parts: The first part discussed the concept of communication and its elements and the characteristics of effective communication, in addition to the components and formulation of letter, and the types of letters.
The second part discussed writing and spelling skills and the most prominent rules, such as the Arabic letter Hamzah in the beginning and the middle of the word; the Hamzatul-Qat` (the permanent Hamzah) and Hamzatul-Wasl (the connecting Hamzah); the Alef Layyinah (flexible Alef letter); the open and closed Taa letter; as well as syntax and basic grammar.
The course was attended by the administration managing director and a number of administration employees.
