Umm Al-Qura University
On Sunday morning, 30 Sha`ban 1440 A.H., His Excellency the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, Prof. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazzazi, visited the academic departments of the college to be introduced to the academic staff of each department. He also wished to be closely familiarized with the problems encountering each academic department, and to discuss the solutions proposed for these problems.
Prof. Omar (may Allah grant him success) started his tour by visiting the Department of Chemistry, followed by the Departments of Physical Education, Art Education, Education, Arabic Language, English Language, Physics, Mathematics, and Islamic Studies.
The visit included brief presentations on the departments, a message from the dean, and several discussions during the meeting with each department. Prof. Omar stressed the importance of participation on the part of all the staff in addressing all the problems and finding suitable solutions. This will lead to the development of Al-Qunfudhah University College and the fulfillment of the objectives and aspirations of Umm Al-Qura University.
