His Excellency the UQU President, Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, approved the administrative promotions of the male and female university employees entitled to a promotion, from the tenth rank and below, numbering 433 male and female employees, out of a total 685 employees entitled to promotion, in the record dated 30 Jumada Al-Thani 1440 A.H.

His Excellency offered his congratulations and wished those promoted continued progression in their careers in the service of the edifice of Umm Al-Qura University and its employees, in addition to his sincere prayers for their success and advancement.

His Excellency the Dean of Academic Staff and Employee Affairs, Prof. Farid bin Ali Yahia Al-Ghamdi, expressed his thanks and great appreciation to His Excellency Prof. Abdullah Bafail for approving the administrative promotions. At the same time, he congratulated all those included in the promotion, wishing them continued success in the service of the university, whose mission starts out from the place of revelation. Moreover, he wished that those who were not promoted during this period have the opportunity for promotion during upcoming periods, Allah Willing.

His Excellency affirmed that the Deanship of the Faculty of Staff Members and Employee Affairs, represented by the Department of Promotions under the leadership of Mr. Marwan bin Dakhilullah Al-Salmi and the work team in the department, exerted every effort in the accomplishment of this work, which is considered a support for achieving the work stability, and raising the indices of the satisfaction of UQU's employees. He states that this work wouldn't have been achieved without the support and enhancement provided to the deanship from the top management of the university, through facilitating the necessary conditions and providing the required jobs, so that the procedures of promotions of the entitled persons will be efficiently carried out.

He also stressed that all the male and female employees entitled to a promotion are able to review the portal of electronic services to view the results of promotions.

The deanship hopes that Allah the Almighty blesses the efforts of and elevates this well-established entity, i.e. Umm Al-Qura University.
