Under the generous auspices of His Excellency Dr. Yasin bin Abdullah Al-Zubaidi, the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, and under the follow-up and supervision of His Excellency Dr. Abdul-Majeed bin Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, Head of the Department of Education, the Department of Education and the scientific departments at Al-Qunfudhah University College delivered eight training workshops to the teachers of science and mathematics from the chosen schools for the application of the international exams of science and mathematics, "Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS)". This was in order to train them on the new techniques in teaching and evaluation, in light of the exams of the TIMSS. These training workshops were presented by a number of the academic staff who are specialized academically and pedagogically in both specializations of Science and Mathematics, i.e., Dr. Matar bin Ahmad Al-Eissa, Dr. Yahia bin Ahmad Al-Nashri, Dr. Muhammad bin Ahmed Al-Mathami, Dr. Faraj Ibrahim Muhammad, Prof. Abdul-Tawwab Abdul-Qadir, Dr.Hakeem Ahmad Uthman, and Dr. Muharram Yahia.

The workshops were concluded on Wednesday, 20 Rajab, 1440 A.H., asking Allah, the Exalted and Glorified, to grant all efforts the success and accomplishment that leads to the advancement and development of the homeland.
