The UQU Branch at Al-Qunfudhah celebrated the graduation of 31 students from the College of Health Sciences among more than 1,600 well-qualified UQU graduates venturing into the labor market. The graduation ceremony was held on Sunday 17 Rajab 1440 A.H. by the Deanship of Student Affairs at Carnival Hall in Al-Qunfudhah Governorate. The ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, the President of Umm Al-Qura University, His Excellency Dr. Fada Al-Baqmi, the Governor of Al-Qunfudhah province, Prof. Abdulaziz bin Rashad Suruji, the UQU Vice President for Educational Affairs, Dr. Abdul-Majeed Al-Ghamdi, the UQU Vice President for Branches, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hazimi, the Adviser to His Excellency the University President and the General Supervisor of the General Administration of Projects, the deans of the colleges in the province, the students' parents, and the people and dignitaries of Al-Qunfudhah.
In his speech, His Excellency the UQU President expressed his warm welcome to the Al-Qunfudhah governor, the parents of the students, and the people and dignitaries of Al-Qunfudhah to the graduation ceremony for the class number 67. He lauded the support extended by the wise leadership (may Allah safeguard it) to the educational programs offered by the UQU which has contributed to harnessing the students' potential and providing an attractive educational environment for learning and teaching.
His Excellency congratulated the graduates, emphasizing the importance of sharing their joy and happiness upon the completion of the requirements to obtain their scientific degrees according to the set curricula, courses, plans, and approved scientific and educational programs. He supplicated Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to bless them with success in their endeavors to serve their community and nation.
The UQU President and the honorable audience witnessed the students' march and the "Life Joy" operetta, and His Excellency honored the excellent students.
