The College of Computing (Female Section) in Al-Qunfudhah, with the participation of the National Entrepreneurship Institute in Al-Qunfudhah, has organized training courses for the female students to teach them about the process of establishing small businesses. The courses were conducted under the supervision of Ms. Safiyyah Al-Shamarani.
The first training course was held on Monday, 21 Jumada Al-Thani, 1440 A.H., under the title of "Set an Idea for Your Project." First, Ms. Al-Shamarani briefed students about the National Entrepreneurship Institute in Al-Qunfudhah. Then she discussed the meaning of being an entrepreneur, and how to generate ideas for projects, and the process of analysis of these ideas in order to select the best ones. After that, she gave an introduction in studying project plans and presented a number of successful project models.
The second training course was held on Tuesday 28 Jumada Al-Thani 1440 A.H., under the title "Start Your Project." The trainer reviewed the project plan and its role in the preparation for small projects. She discussed the phases of a project plan, and how to plan the technical and financial details of the project. The executive steps required by the female students to start their project were then explained.
The course was attended by the female students of the College of Computing, who exchanged ideas about their future projects.
