Under the patronage of his Excellency Dr. Yassin bin Abdullah Al-Zubaidi, the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, and the support of the Vice Deanship of Student Affairs, the Scientific Club at the Physics Department presented a scientific lecture on cancer risks and prevention methods on Thursday 9 Jumada Al-Thani, 1440 A.H., at the theater of Al-Qunfudhah University College. The lecture was part of the Gulf Day to combat cancer and the community participation of the college.

The lecture was organized in cooperation with Al-Khaldiya Health Center. Dr. Dina Abdullah Ahmad provided valuable guidelines on how to prevent cancer. The lecture included the distribution of brochures containing useful information and tips to enable the female students to identify the symptoms of this disease and treatment methods, as well as the importance of conveying this information to family members and the wider community in order raise the awareness about cancer risks.

Wrapping up the event, her Excellency the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Dr. Sharifah Al-Hazmi, honored the participants from Al-Khaldiya Health Center, wishing everyone good health.
