Under the auspices of Her Excellency Dr. Hana' bint Jaza' Al-Utaibi, the Vice Dean of the College of Business Administration for Educational Affairs, the Student Activities Unit at the College of Business Administration, female section, Rea Dhakhir Campus, held a panel discussion entitled: "The Science of Steganography: Challenges and Solutions". The discussion was held on Wednesday, 1440 1 Jumada Al-Thani, 1440 A.H., in the presence of a number of the college vice deans, academic staff, and students. The talk was presented by Her Excellency Dr. Ahd bint Muhammad Al-Jarf, Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Umm Al-Qura University and a member of the Saudi Group for Information Assurance (Hemaya).

The lecture discussed the concept and history of steganography (hiding data in images), as well as a list of methods and algorithms for hiding data in common images, and the most popular tools and programs available for free use on the Internet.

It also tackled the main challenges faced by developers of steganalysis systems, and the solutions this science offers to investigators of cyber crime.
