The Dean of the College of Education, Dr. Ali bin Muslih Al-Matrifi, and the Head of Department of Education, Dr. Abdul-Aziz Al-Hejaili, inaugurated the annual exhibition of the Department of Art Education on Thursday, 26 Rabi` Al-Awwal, 1440 A.H. The inauguration was held in the presence of the Vice-Dean of the College Dr. Murdi bin Ghurmullah Al-Zahrani, the Vice-Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies Dr. Talal bin Aqil Al-Khairi, the Vice-Dean of the College for Academic Affairs Dr. Tawfiq bin Idris Al-Bakri, the Heads of the Departments, the academic staff, and the students.
The exhibition, which is part of the activities of the Department of Art Education for the academic year 1439-1440 A.H., includes a selection of the students' work from the male section in Al-Abdiyyah. Various fields are represented, such as calligraphy, decoration, drawing, photography, weaving, ceramics, metal works, and woodwork. The works also vary in their artistic trends, schools, and styles: they follow the realistic, abstract, influential, and post-modernism styles and trends in art.
