The Faculty celebrates the 86th National Day of the Kingdom

Under the patronage of his Excellency the Governor of Al-Qunfudhah, Mr. Fada bin Bayn Al-Bakmi, in the presence of the government head officials and the faculty deans in the governorate, the faculty celebrated the 86th National Day of  Saudi Arabia.

The ceremony began with the National Anthem of KSA, then the ceremony was launched by Dr. Mohammed Mar'i Al-Hazmi the Vice Dean, then the ceremony opened with verses from the Holy Quran.

The ceremony was honored by a speech from UQU President, Dr. Bakry bin Maatouq Assas; where he congratulated the government on the National Day and talked about the blessing of security that the country enjoys and the role of the University community in keeping the homeland safe.

Then a visual presentation on KSA 86th National Day, followed by a poem recited by Mr. Mohammad Hadi Alkozi, Arabic language supervisor at Balkos Education Office.

Moreover, a group of students gave a performance to raise awareness of the harms of radical ideology and terrorism and its effect on the country and the people in the form of ruin and destruction.

This was followed by the speech of His Excellency Governor of Al-Qunfudhah, Mr, Fada bin Bayn Al-Bakmi; in which he congratulated the country on this day and thanked our prudent government for its efforts in all fields.

He also thanked UQU President Dr. Bakry bin Maatouq Assas for his support for colleges in the governorate, and his continuous follow up of its affairs.

Also, the Governor of Al-Qunfudhah and the faculty Dean and directors of security sectors honored martyrs of the nation born in Al-Qunfudhah. This tribute comes as a national initiative from UQU within its role of leadership and its national obligations towards those martyred to fulfill their duty.
