A blood drive was run in the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah under the patronage of General Directorate of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudhah and in cooperation with the Laboratory Division in the Directorate and Blood Bank in Al-Qunfudah General Hospital.

The drive witnessed a turnout from the students of health sciences and the preparatory year students, who were eager to donate blood.

His Excellency the director of Health Affairs in Al-Qunfudah, Dr. Abdullah Al-Gharawy, accompanied with a team of officials and a number of doctors from Al-Qunfudah General Hospital, visited the site of the campaign to ensure its progress. They were received by His Excellency the Dean of the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah, Prof. Omar Bin Abdullah Al-Hazazy, and the academic staff of the college.

All the attendees were obviously happy to see such zealousness and enthusiasm to donate blood on the part of the students, and the spread of the culture of blood donation among the new generation of youth.
