In cooperation with the Vice Deanship for Development and Entrepreneurship in UQU, the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudha witnessed a workshop entitled, “Quality Requirements and National Accreditation.” The workshop was held on Monday-Tuesday, 06-07th Safar 1440H, at the College’s Theatre.
It is worth mentioning that the workshop was presented by Dr. Hossam Muhammad Dosouquy, Advisor at the Vice Deanship for Development and Entrepreneurship. This was under the patronage of the College, represented by Dr. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazzazy, the Dean, and Dr. Mahdy bin Hussein As-Suqour, Vice Dean for Development and Entrepreneurship.
In the same context, the workshop was held in the presence of 123 UQU affiliates in Al-Qunfudha Branch. The attendees represented the Colleges of Health Sciences, Engineering and Computers, Medicine, as well as the University College. This was within the efforts exerted by the Vice Deanship of Development and Entrepreneurship to train UQU affiliates to the culture of academic accreditation and quality.
It should be noted that the topics of the workshop varied aiming to assist all departments, centers, units and directorates of the colleges to activate quality standards in their performance, and complete its self-assessment processes. This would contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the college development strategic plan, in accordance with the local, regional and international developments in the domains of quality, excellence and academic accreditation. This would also enhance the level of outputs via objective achievement.
