Under the auspices of Dr. Yassin bin Abdullah Al-Zubaidi, the Dean of Al-Qunfudhah University College, and the supervision of Dr. Nouair Bajaber, the Vice Dean of the College, and out of the community participation with the Health Affairs Directorate in Al-Qunfudha; (Early Detection Is Survival) Program was activated as a part of the breast cancer awareness campaign coinciding the month of October that was dedicated for spreading awareness for this disease. The activation took place on Wednesday, Safar 1, 1440H, at the College’s main building. 

The medical cadre gave an educational awareness lecture about the disease,  the ways of prevention, and the importance of spreading awareness between affiliates and students. It was attended by the College’s Vice Deans, the members of the administrative and supervision cadres and the students. The event’s exhibition was opened with the participation of the administrative units and some of the academic departments, under the coordination of the Public Relation and Administrative Development Units.
At the end of the event, the College’s Vice Dean honored the medical team for its participation to spread the awareness between the College’s affiliates and students, asking god to surround everyone with health and wellness.
