Dr. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazazi, Dean of the Health Sciences College in Al-Qunfudah, stressed the need to pay attention to the quality of education and to provide students with practical skills through training and field practice in hospitals for the students of the college, especially students of Emergency Medical Services Department.
He stressed the importance of working to activate the departments listed in Royal Decree No. (5997/B) that was issued on 10-8-1427 AH to establish the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudah to join the previous medical colleges at Umm Al-Qura University, which includes the emergency medical services, public health, and medical secretary departments; in addition to the Nursing Department. This is in order to accommodate large numbers of students from Al-Qunfudah Province in the specialties required by the labor market to meet the Kingdom's need for these specialties.
This came during the meeting of Dr. Omar bin Abdullah Al-Hazazi, Dean of the College, with the college vice-deans and heads of departments, and the faculty members in the college. It was held on Wednesday, 16-01-1440 AH.
