In line with the College philosophy which goes quality is deeds not words, the Dean of the College of Business Administration launched quality ambassadors initiative during the college celebration held on Sunday Ramadan 12, 1439 H by handing out appreciation letters from University of Texas A & M in USA to the students of the college in return for their scientific excellence during the joint educational project between Dr. Angela Dorocco from University of Texas A & M and Dr. Yosri Nabeel and Mr. Hatim Al-Ahmari from Umm Al-Qura University.
The Quality Ambassadors Initiative involves a number of outstanding students who undertake the responsibility of introducing quality culture and the philosophy of the College of Business Administration to achieve excellence in the educational process and its outcomes for the students and the external community.
During the meeting, the Dean delivered speech extending his thanks to the UQU President, UQU Vice Presidents, and the Deanship of e-Learning and Distance Education for supporting the joint educational project between the college and University of Texas A & M in the USA. At the level of the college, he thanked the College Vice Dean, and the Departments Heads for encouraging students and supporting faculty members. He also extended his thanks and appreciation to the project coordinator Dr. Yosri Nabeel for his significant efforts in the project and for his initiatives and significant contribution to the college. Additionally, he extended his thanks to Mr. Hatim Al-Ahmari as an example of the youth faculty members in the college for his keenness in the students' excellence.
The Dean announced that the students who obtained appreciation letters have been selected as the quality ambassadors in the college for achieving the college philosophy which goes quality is deeds, not words. He added that the college will encourage them to obtain admission letter after graduation in the prestigious universities at the international level with full support from the College of Business Administration.
After that, the Project Coordinator delivered a speech in which he extended his thanks and appreciation to the Dean of the College of Business Administration for adopting the project from the beginning and his close follow up of all its details. He also extended his thanks to the College Vice Dean Prof. Ahmed Al-Qarni for his follow up and keenness to make the project a success extending his thanks also to the Heads of Tourism and Hospitality Department and Business Administration for supporting and motivating the students. He also praised the role undertaken by Mr. Haim Al-Hmari in following up the students and participating effectively and interactively in the project extending his thanks also to Dr. Najm Al-Hoda for motivating the students. It didn't escape his notice also to extend his thanks and appreciations to the students of the college for the excellence they have achieved in the project and for succeeding in showing their knowledge efficiency thus reflecting the educational quality in the College of Business Administration leading the college students to obtain appreciation letters from the American university.
Further, Mr. Haim Al-Ahmari delivered his speech extending his thanks to the College Dean and students focusing on the importance of the project for the students in exchanging knowledge with advanced educational schools.
Then, the students spoke about the benefits they have reaped from the project which provided a real opportunity for them to reflect the university's bright image. They also extended their thanks to the college dean, college and university leadership and faculty members for their keenness to benefit students during their study in the college.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the college dean distributed the American appreciation letters and took memorial photos with students and faculty members involved in the project.
