The Computer Club concerned with developing the various skills of students at the College of Computer in Al-Qunfudhah organized an awareness program titled “World Autism Day” on Tuesday 17 Rajab 1439AH, under the sponsorship of the Vice Dean of the Computer College in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Amani Al-Shoaibi, and under the supervision of Ms. Mona Al-Zahrani. The program saw the attendance of several faculty members and students as part of the contribution made by the Ministry of Health to achieve a future vision through which comprehensive and integrated health care is provided.  One aspect of this vision was represented in taking part in the awareness aspect of the program in the presence of Dr. Zeinab Eissa Al-Hazmy and Nurse Nour Ahmed Al-Faqih.
The program included the presence of the manager of Al-Yin Center, Ms.  Zahraa Souid Al-Gleemy, to share her valuable experience with Autism.

The program also included the activation of several other sides. One of them contained the creations of some autistic children, and the other contained their interests and games.

The hashtag “Write For Me so I Smile” was launched, and was met with great responsiveness from the Twitter users’ side.

Additionally, the program with met with great acceptance and interaction by the students, as it represented one of the most important awareness aspects within the university environments in order to increase knowledge.
