The President of UQU, Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assass, received the annual report of the Health Sciences College in Al-Qunfudhah for academic year 1437/1438AH during his meeting today at the library of the University Campus in Al-Abideyah with the Dean of the College, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Eissa. Dr. Assass listened to a detailed explanation by Dr. Al-Eissa about the details of the report, including statistics, activities, educational and training programs, and community participation in the province of Al-Qunfudhah and outside it. It also included awareness and cultural events implemented by the college throughout the year. The report also addressed the accomplished objectives, in addition to the plans and programs the college aims to accomplish in the near future in accordance with the strategy the Deanship laid out specifically for this purpose.
Dr. Assass praised the efforts of the college's staff, and their prominent role in preparing and creating the suitable environment and educational and training atmosphere to qualify the students of the college. He also praised the content of the report, including all the data and statistics that emphasize the care and keenness of the Deanship and all its employees to achieve the desired goals to serve citizens of this country, as well as provide them with proper education opportunities in the various health services and fields. He then extended his thanks and appreciation for the Dean of the College, the Vice Deans, the heads of the departments, and the faculty members for their efforts to help the advancement of the college, and everything they offered to its graduates. He wished everyone success at performing their tasks to serve UQU, represented in the College of Health Sciences in Al-Qunfudhah.
For his part, and on behalf of the college staff and students, the Dean of the Health Sciences College, Dr. Al-Eissa, thanked Dr. Assass for his continuous support and guidance to help the educational services offered by the college improve, as well as for providing the atmosphere that allows students to be in a suitable educational environment. He also praised the efforts and follow-up of the Vice Presidents of UQU and their keenness to perform the tasks assigned to them and enhancing the role of the university in qualifying and training national students in the field of health sciences and urgent medical services.
