Dr. Jaber bin Saeed Al-Zaharani, dean of Engineering and Computer Colleges, participated in the first meeting of colleges’ deans in Al-Qunfudah province, which was held in Qawz High School, and represented by the guidance and steering at the school. The meeting was under the title of “Guide Students to Select their Post-High School Majors”, and was attended by Dr. Jaber Al-Zaharani; Dr. Yassin Al-Zubaidi, dean of the University College; Dr. Osama Abdul-rahman Sheikh, dean of Medicine College; Dr. Ahmed Al-Eissa, dean of the Health College; and Dr. Hamed Ali AL-Monitshri, dean of Al-Qunfudah Technical College. The meeting was under the patronage of Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Zahmy, director of Education at Al-Qunfudah.

Dr. Al-Zaharani, in his speech to the guests and the high school students and employees, introduced the departments of the two colleges, the mechanism and requirements of admission and registration. He also broached the smart selection of majors, the future outlook, the significance of the state developmental visions, and the objectives of the Saudi vision 2030 that has an ambitious plan towards the scientific disciplines.

At the end of his speech, Dr. Jaber Al-Zahrani recommended the students to be serious and diligent, and to realize the significance of their role in the near future as being the students of today and the cornerstone the vision 2030.
