Vice Deanship of the College for Community Service Holds Role Model Training Course

Under the sponsorship of the Vice Dean of the University College in Al-Qunfudhah, Dr. Yassin Al-Zobaidy, the Vice Deanship of the College for Community Service held a training course for the college’s students, titled “Role Model and Mental Health” on Wednesday 5 Jumada Al-Akhira 1439AH. The course came as one of the training aspects of an initiative launched by Emirate Initiatives Center, which is concerned with following up the emirate’s initiatives that aim to develop the society.

The course started with a maessage from the Vice Dean, Dr. Ali Eissa, in which he explained the objective of the course, pointing out the importance of having a role mode in the lives of students.  Lecturers in the course included Dr. Saeed Dardara, the associate professor at the Department of Education. He discussed several aspects, including:  Introducing the “How to be a role model?” initiative, the project principles, how students can be role models, and the role of role models in improving the mental health of students.

The course was concluded with a training segment implemented by Dr. Ali Eissa. It included practical training for students, with a special focus on their responses to determine their current role models.
