Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), visited the Colleges at the Qunfudha branch on Monday, 17^th Rabie I 1439H (5^th December 2017).

During his tour, Dr. Assas visited the College of Health Sciences in Qunfudha. He was warmly received by Dr. Saeed bin Saleh Al-Buhairy (Vice Dean of the College), Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdulazim Uwais (Supervisor of the Department of Medical Emergency Services), in addition to a group of staff members and employees.   

At the laboratories of the Medical Emergency Services Department, Dr. Assas was pleased with the equipment and preparations. Moreover, his delight increased when he learned that the Department witnessed its first graduates, and that one of them became a teaching assistant in it.

At the end of the visit, UQU President hailed the distinctive work of the College’s Dean, administration, staff members and employees.

In the same context, Dr. Assas extended special thanks to Dr. Saeed Al-Buhairy. He also asked him to send his greetings and speedy recovery wishes to Dr. Ahmad bin Muhammad Al-Esa, Dean of the College.
