Students and staffs of College of Business Administration were pleased with the great visit made by UQU President HE Dr. Bakri Bin M'atoog Bin Bakri Al-Assas, Dr. Abdulaziz Sirouji and their companions to the College of Business Administration's Section at Preparatory Year Students' Forum held on 18/06/1437 AH corresponding to 27/03/2016 AD at King Abdulaziz Historical Hall for selecting their specialization.
HE UQU President visited the students' knowledge products. Students of Management of Hajj and Umrah Department introduced to His Excellency the "Tawafti App" which is an application designed on mobile phone for management of the activities of Tawafa institutions and offices. The application was shown on students' mobile phones and was tried in front of His Excellency. The College staff showed His Excellency the applications of modern education such as learning via mobile phone, active learning and interactive learning. His Excellency listened to an overview about the College presented by HE Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al Qurani, Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs. HE Dr. M'atoog highly appreciated the leading experiences of the College and its knowledge products. Dean of College of Business Administration Dr. Sultan bin Ayyid Al Bogami delivered a speech in the Forum where he shed light on the College and its achievements and gave thanks to HE UQU President for his great support of the College. He also thanked Vice-Deans of the University and the Deanship of Preparatory year for their distinguished organization of the Forum.
In his speech, Dr. Sultan Al Bogami pointed out that the College is strongly seeking international academic accreditation from the most prestigious international agencies granting accreditation for business administration programs and colleges around the world; AACSB in USA and EFMD in Belgium. He also shed light on the College's departments, specializations and graduate studies programs including executive and professional MBA programs in addition to its future plans. He highlighted the College's keenness to develop its students' capabilities and enhance participation and continued dialogue between the College and industry representatives for supporting the College's graduates in labor market through agreements and partnerships with effective agencies and companies.
Students and staff said goodbye to HE Dr. M'atoog at the end of his visit to the College's section, asking Allah to grant him success. They thanked him and his honorable companions for their visit to the College's section. They also expressed their gratitude and appreciation for HE Dean of the Preparatory Year and all the distinguished staff of the Deanship of Preparatory Year for their great efforts in making the forum a success and for their support of the College's section in the Forum.
