Accompanied by the Dean of College of Dentistry, Dr. Abdulaziz Khutani, the UQU President, Dr. Bakri Matouq Assas, made an inspection visit to the College of Dentistry Educational Hospital.
Assas checked on the operation of specialized maxillofacial surgery and emergency clinics in addition to student clinics, which amount to 76 clinics. Further, he viewed the efforts of dentistry students in treating patients using the advanced technologies. Later, he inaugurated the breast cancer awareness campaign held by the college to observe the World Breast Cancer Day under the supervision of the Vice-dean, Dr. Sarah Tahir.
At the end of the tour, Assas listened to a detailed account of the mobile clinics activities this year by the dean.
After the tour was over, Assas lauded the College of Dentistry faculty members, the college's activities and programs, noting that they are no strangers to excellence since dentistry cadres have made several distinguished accomplishments.
On his part, Khutani stated that the UQU president's visit manifests his concern for following-up on all programs, works and activities organized by the College of Dentistry for its students, praising his continus support to the college.
