Qunfudha Health Sciences Organizes 2nd Internship Students Meeting

As part of the efforts of Al-Qunfudha Health Sciences College, the Vice-Deanship for Hospital Affairs organized the second meeting for internship students of the Medical Emergency Services Department. The meeting was held on Monday, 19th Muharram 1439H (10th October 2017) at the College’s premise, and attended by Dr. Ahmad bin Muhammad Al-Eisa, Dean of the College.

The aim of the meeting was to identify the results of the training during the past three months. In other words, a detailed report was presented to the Dean clarifying what was accomplished and the plan for the coming period.

Then, the Dean gave a speech in which he welcomed the trainees and urged them to exert more efforts to benefit from the internship year. In addition, he informed them of the good feedback by the participating training providers.

The meeting witnessed the participation of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdulazim Uwais (Head of the Medical Emergency Services Department), Prof. Dr. Morsi Abuljood (Vice-Dean for Hospital Affairs), Dr. Alaa Al-Jallab Al-Moshref (Vice-Dean for Academic Development and Community Service) and Prof. Hussein Al-Nasheri (Internship Year Coordinator). The participants explained the completed and applied skills during the past training period and the College plan in the remaining of such period. They also clarified the role of the College in solving some difficulties in cooperation with the training providers.  

In the same context, the participants also provided guidance to trainees to urge them to exert more effort to learn, practice training and relate it to what they studied.

Afterwards, discussion was opened and questions were asked to students to see their views and answer their queries.
