The College of Education, represented by a group of researchers, took part in the 17th round of the Hajj and Umrah meeting that was held on Shabaan 14-15, 1438 at Taibah University. A batch of top researchers and specialists from Saudi universities and research centers.
During the first session that discussed "Management and Economy", Dr. Ubaid Allah S. Al Lehyani from Umm Al Qura University's College of Education presented a study themed "Role of Crisis and Risk Management in Hajj and Umrah Sectors." In this paper, he discussed role played by Hajj and Umrah sectors in confronting crises and risks as well as tasks assignment and leaders employment.
In this session, Dr. Sumayyah Sharaf presented a paper themed "Common psychological disorders among pilgrims and remedy recommendations - descriptive diagnostic study." The aim of this study was to explore common psychological disorders among pilgrims by sex, age and severity during the year 1437H to discuss guides and the suggested treatments. It gave a number of recommendations that included psychological investigations, training for health workers, guides for minimizing disorder effects and the re-positioning to complete Hajj rituals.
In the fifth session, Dr. Abdullah Al Attas presented a study named "To a national initiative for measuring training and vocational needs in addition to the demographic changes that happen among workers in light of the National Transformation Program 2020."
Also, Dr. Wafaa Mahdar discussed a paper in the 8th session under the title "Study of training needs of guides (Mutawifs) in light of the Saudi Vision 2030."
The researchers were honored and hailed for their efforts.
