On Tuesday, Rajab 28, 1438H, corresponding to April 25, 2017, the Department of Tourism and Hospitality, of the College of Business Administration, organized a seminar under the title: "Food Safety Management Systems in KSA", under the auspices of Dr. Sultan A. al-Baqami, dean of the college, and Dr. Suzan A. Wazan, vice dean for the girls section.
The seminar touched on several topics, all centered on international food safety management systems, meanwhile identifying the systems applicable in KSA, and how such systems are put into effect (in restaurants, hotels, and food producers.) Also, the seminar explored how such systems affect performance of food producers.
Attendees were impressed by the seminar, who were stimulated to interact vigorously.
On this occasion, the department would like to thank Ms. Rawan al-Hazemi, specialist of EU food safety systems, for providing all such valuable information on the topic.
