As a result of the fruitful cooperation between the Continuing Education Unit affiliated with the Vice Deanship of the Development and Entrepreneurship at the College of Dentistry and the Medical Education Unit, affiliated with the UQU Institute of Consulting Research and Studies, we are pleased to offer our first training program at the College of Dentistry: ‘Gummy Smile: Diagnosis and Treatment.’

The program will be presented by a constellation of specialists and experts of the UQU College of Dentistry namely: Dr. Salwa Al-Dahlawi, Dr. Ahmed Dardir, Dr. Ehab Azab, Dr. Dalia Nourah and Dr. Wael Yaghmour.

Course objectives: This comprehensive course with its lectures and workshops aims to focus on the following points related to the problem of gummy smile and its various treatment methods:

1- Causes of gummy smile, methods of correct diagnosis, and selection of the proper treatment plan.

2- Gummy smile treatment using cosmetic crown lengthening.

3- Modern methods of gummy smile treatment using upper lip re-positioning method.

The workshops will take place at the college labs using custom-made models. Please register as soon as possible as limited seats are available.
