The Department of Family Education seeks to achieve lofty values derived from the university's objectives and mission, as it contains a great deal of knowledge, science, and arts.

Society is in urgent need of the Department of Family Education, since the department provides all the needs of individuals, families, and society in daily and social life. That is, the department enables its female students to bear responsibility, entrepreneurship, management of private projects that serves society, and to be productive people in order to realize the Kingdom's vision and aspirations regarding university graduates.

The department includes various specializations that form the following four educational streams: Nutrition and Food Science; Clothing and Textiles; Housing and Management; and Art Education. These four streams represent everything families need to enjoy a prestigious social life characterized by originality and modernity. Hence, the department aims to upgrade and promote the status of the family, since it is considered to be the nucleus and foundation of society, while preserving the national identity, which is clear in the activities of the female students.
