Committee of Faculty Members and Equivalents

Tasks:

1. Consider files of candidates for teaching assistant and lecturer occupations.

2. Prepare and supervise exams and interviews with candidates for academic occupations.
3. Consider applications for scholarship submitted by teaching assistants and lecturers.
4. Consider the department needs of faculty members (Number and specializations) and prepare an annual report in that regard.
5. Consider files of candidates (Saudi or non-Saudi) for academic occupations (assistant profession, associate professor, professor).
6. Study files of applicants for promotion from assistant professor to associate professor or from associate professor to professor. Study scientific content of all submitted researches and ensure that applicants meet such conditions set by the university scientific council for promotion.
7. Study sabbatical leave applications by faculty members.

The committee was formed upon the department council recommendation No (6) dated 20/03/1438H, approved by the college dean through the letter No 124/M/G Dated 28/03/1438H
