The Value System in the Structure of the Narrative Discourse of Saudi Women

Abstract

This research focuses on the study and analysis of (the value system in the structure of the narrative discourse of Saudi women) by extrapolating those values from their aspects rooted in the narrative discourse; to reveal the positioning of values, and how they are formed through the narrative format, the value system determines the general cultural context generated by the text, as Identifies conflicting intellectual trends in the novel.

The research also focuses on the value system through relying on a number of novels of Saudi female writers, selecting models from them, according to the value contents as appeared in her novels, and analyzing the applied models indicating each value. These values were represented in two directions ;special individualized values, and general popular values.
