Abstract
The study aimed to identify self-organized learning strategies and compared them in to student samples of Umm Al-Qura University in Saudi Arabia and Abdul Hamid bin Badis University in Algeria. The comparative approach was used through a random sample of (526) male and female students, of which (377) Umm Al-Qura University, and (149) students from Abdul Hamid bin Badis University, and applied to them the self-organized learning strategies scales (Purdie). The researcher used arithmetic means, standard deviations, Pearson correlation coefficients, and 4-way ANOVA analysis of variance. The results showed the following findings:
1. Umm Al-Qura University students and Abdul Hamid bin Badis students practice the same self-organized learning strategies, and their common learning strategy is (recitation and memorization).
2. There is no effect of gender, on the self-organized learning strategies of the study sample.
