Unit Description
The Equivalency Unit at the English Language Institute receives requests for course equivalency of English language courses from students transferring between colleges within the University or from other universities.
The Unit is responsible for reviewing and deciding on equivalency requests, then forwarding them to the Deanship of Admission and Registration.

Objectives
Receive and classify equivalency requests for English Language Institute courses from students transferring from another university or from another college within the same university.
Review academic records and course descriptions to ensure that course equivalency complies with all regulatory requirements and with the Institute’s and University’s bylaws.
Receive and review equivalency requests for visiting students and send approval letters to the Institute.
Utilize modern technological tools in the operations of the Equivalency Unit.
