Unit Description
The Course Equivalency Unit at the English Language Institute receives course equivalency requests for English language courses from students transferring between colleges within the university or from other universities.
The unit is responsible for reviewing and deciding on these requests, and subsequently forwarding them to the Deanship of Admission and Registration.

Objectives
Receiving and sorting course equivalency requests for English Language Institute courses from students transferring from other universities or between colleges within the university.
Reviewing academic transcripts and course descriptions to ensure that course equivalencies comply with all regulatory requirements as well as the regulations of both the Institute and the University.
Receiving and reviewing requests for the equivalency of English Language Institute courses for visiting students, and sending approval letters to the Institute.
Utilizing modern technology to streamline and enhance the operations of the Course Equivalency Unit.
