The Department of Environmental Engineering is concerned with graduating environmental engineers who have outcomes that achieve the vision and mission of the department, college and university. To achieve this, we summarize the graduate outcomes as follows:
- Acquiring cognitive and applied sciences in the fields of environmental sciences, chemistry, biology, physics, mathematics, and other supporting sciences.
- Acquiring cognitive and applied sciences in the fields of engineering and environmental engineering.
- Being acquainted with the principles and basics of designing the devices of measuring, testing, and analysis, and the processing units.
- Ability to operate the devices of measuring, testing, and analysis, and the processing units.
- Identifying environmental problems resulting from pollution and environmental changes.
- Ability to solve environmental problems resulting from pollution and environmental changes.
- Assessing the environmental impact of existing and proposed projects.
- Introducing solutions to environmental problems.
- Providing environmental guidance to the local community.
- Identifying tools for communication with institutions and the local community.
- Ability to use tools to communicate with institutions and the local community.
- Having ways and methods to identify the behavior and culture of citizens.
- Directing citizens to proper behaviors that serve the environment and the citizens.
- Ability to take necessary action in emergencies, such as during Hajj and Umrah.
