Exams for New Students for the Academic Year 2022 A.H.

The Department of Physical Education welcomes the new students applying for admission tests and wishes everyone success.

Please start by accurately reviewing the flow chart of procedures for completing the requirements for the admission tests and learning their arrangement, to complete them easily in a manner that saves time and effort. Moreover, please adhere to the deadline for uploading the required documents and files on the website.

First: Conditions for admission to the Department of Physical Education

  • The height of the student must not be less than 165 cm.
  • The student must be medically fit and submit the medical examination form approved by the medical authority.
  • The student must perform a body structure test wearing shorts that are below the knee, without any shirt or shoes.
  • The student should submit the required attachments on the exams page website within the specified time period and according to the required specifications.

Second: Outline of admission procedures

 

Third: Data Form

Complete physicians' signatures on all the items of the medical examination, and the form should bear a stamp approved by the medical authority.

  1. Download the Data Form, Medical Examination Form, and admission tests, and then print them out.
  2. Write your name, national identity number, mobile number, and university number (if any), and put your personal photo on the form. Please click here to download the form.

Fourth: Medical examination

  1. Visit the nearest medical authority to complete the medical examination.
  2. Scan the color image of the Medical Examination Form in PDF format, bearing a stamp of approval.
  3. Scan your national identity card in PDF format

Fifth: Record a video file while taking the exams: (Video File MP4)

Avoid making any pauses on the video, cutting or modifying the display properties, or inserting any visual effects on the attached file so as not to be excluded.

Notes:

  • Read the instructions of each test, look at the pictures and video, and practice well
  • Choose an appropriate place to film with good lighting, and avoid places in your own home.
  • The profile should be filmed with the performance and tests, in one file and at the same time.
  • Shooting should be done in a way that shows the performance of the student and enables the evaluator to judge it.
  • Shooting cannot be paused during the test. Temporarily pausing between tests is allowed using the pausing feature

Start Shooting:

Personal Introduction: Show your ID clearly in front of the camera for five seconds, then state your name clearly and talk about your sporting hobby.

 Physical strength examination: Stand in front of the camera while wearing shorts covering the knee, without wearing any shirt or shoes. This should be in a such way that the entire body faces the camera, then the side and back of the body, each one for a period of five seconds.

Physical Fitness Performance Examinations: The tests must be performed in sequence, according to the instructions and conditions specified for each test.

  • After the completion of the fourth test, use the stop feature   
  • Save the video file and use your university number in the file name.

How to perform physical fitness performance exams

Push-Ups

Starting position:

Leaning on flat, solid ground, with the body straight.

Performing the test:

Bend and then extend the arms fully to return to the prone position. Repeat this movement to perform the largest number of push-ups without stopping, until you are fatigued.

  • Keep your body perfectly straight during the performance.
  • Keep your arms fully bent with your chest touching the floor, and then extend your arms fully, straightening your body.

Counting the mark:

It is the number of times the student completes a cycle of bending and then extending the arms in the correct way. Half attempts are not counted.

 

Standing Broad Jump

Starting position:

A measuring tape is placed at the starting line, extended to the length of three meters. Stand behind the starting line with an adequate distance between your feet so that the two feet are behind but touching the starting line.

Performing the test:

With the feet together, jump forward as far as possible by extending the knees and pushing with the feet while swinging the arms forward.

  • The test is performed on a rough surface that allows you to give the required thrust.
  • Jump with your two feet together, not on one foot.
  • The test may be taken in shoes or with bare feet.

Counting the mark:

The jump distance is calculated from the starting line to the last part of the body that touches the ground after this line.

  • After performing the jump, a person helps the student to measure the distance that the student has jumped, in centimeters. This should be illustrated by taking photographs during the performance of the attempt.

Sit-Ups with Knees Bent

Starting position:

From a lying position, bending the knees with the hands intertwined behind the neck. Someone should help the student keep their feet flat on the floor.

Performing the test:

The student bends the torso forward, moving down to touch the knees with the forehead the most number of times possible in one minute.

  • Do not stop, untwine your hands, or change the position of the feet during the test.
  • The test ends and the count stops when the student stops to rest.
  • Incorrect attempts are not counted.

Counting the mark:

It is the number of correct performances recorded in a time of one minute.

Burpee Test (Squat Thrust)

Starting position:

The student stands on flat, solid ground, with the body straight.

Performing the test:

The student starts from the standing position, bending the knees to go down and placing the palms on the ground with the knees between the arms, next tossing the legs together behind him to take a completely inclined prone position with the arms bent, and then throwing the legs in front to reach the position of bending the knees, and finally standing and jumping high to a moderate position with your chest facing forward. This should be performed for the maximum number of times possible, without pausing, for one minute.

  • The test ends and the count stops when the student stops to rest.
  • Incorrect attempts are not counted.

Counting the mark:

It is the number of correct performances recorded in a time of one minute.

Submitting files to the testing committee

  • The document upload link can only be used once. The attempt cannot be repeated.
  • If finally accepted, you will receive a SMS message from the Deanship of Admission and Registration.

Before clicking on the link, the following documents must be prepared:

  • The Approved Medical Examination Form ( PDF - Scanner): file name followed by the student's university number: st0000000
  • A copy of the national identity (PDF - Scanner): file name followed by the student's university number, eg. id0000000
