The Anesthesia Technology Program adopts graduating anesthesia technology specialists in anesthetic care in line with the standards of the Saudi and American Society of Anesthesiologists, which depends on basic and advanced clinical procedures that help the anesthesia specialist provide safe and effective patient care under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.
Anesthesia specialists are vital in the field of anesthesia. Anesthesiologists depends on them in the use of anesthesia tools and devices to provide the basic anesthetic medical care necessary for patients before and after surgeries, with all its specialties, including interventional and diagnostic radiology, labor and delivery units, outpatient procedure wards, and mobile surgery centers, in addition to emergency rooms and intensive care units.
While studying the program, students complete the preparatory year (medical stream), four specialized years in the program, and the internship year to improve the quality and condition of anesthetic medical care by providing the healthcare and anesthesia sections inside the hospitals with well-trained and educated technical personnel.
