The Department of Clinical Technology offers three distinct programs, as follows: Emergency Medical Services Program, Anesthesia Technique Program, and Respiratory Care Program.
The graduate of the program is classified as a specialist in "emergency medical services (non-doctor)", and can complete his major in the master's or doctoral stage. Alternatively, he can join the College of Medicine to earn a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, and then complete the fellowship in emergency medicine.
An anesthetic technician holds a diploma, a non-physician specialist has a bachelor's degree in anesthesia, while an anesthesiologist holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and majors in anesthesia.
- Assisting the anesthesia specialist in the anesthesia and care of patients before and during surgery. - Preparation of medicine, devices and tools necessary for local anesthesia or general anesthesia.
