As we keen on promoting work provided by the department to serve both students and faculty members, thus, it was necessary to involve the department staff (faculty members and technicians) to get their opinions and assign work to the same through effective committees which will assess the department current condition and make appropriate recommendations, according to competence of each committee, to report the same to the Department Council for consideration and approval.

A number of sixteen sub-committees were formed divided into two key parts under the umbrella of the Academic Accreditation & Quality Assurance Committee: the first is interested in services directly provided to students whilst the second provides services to faculty members, technicians and administrative operations. Below, is a guide of committees clarifying their tasks, mechanism of work and administrative hierarchy. I pray for almighty Allah to bless our time and work of those committees as well as to help us devote our efforts to serve the department and its staff. 

General Tasks for all Committees:


Each proposed committee will have a head, a secretary and a general supervisor for committees along with a certain number of members according to nature of work and tasks of each.   


Head of each committee will file a report to head of the department comprising the committee discussions and recommendations as recorded at minutes of meetings signed by all members and filed to the general supervisor.


The head of the department will attend meetings of committees, on a regular basis, for interest and follow-up.
