Responsibilities of the Dean
- Carrying out strategic planning for the Faculty.
- Supervising all academic, administrative and technical affairs of the Faculty.
- Supervising the completion of all educational facilities necessary for the smooth conduct of the educational process.
- Ensuring the provision of all Faculty needs.
- Establishing rules and regulations in coordination with the competent authorities in the Faculty and the University.
- Taking the necessary measures to appoint staff in different majors.
- Starting new majors in the Faculty according to labor market needs.
- Ensuring that the comprehensive quality programs are applied in all programs of the Faculty.
- Organizing seminars and conferences for informing the society about the Faculty of Computer in Al-Laith.
- Supervising all admission procedures in all majors.
- Approving admission results in different majors and specifying the number of students to be admitted according to the Faculty capacity.
- Supervising the conduct of exams and approving results.
- Establishing centers for serving students, like social and entertaining centers to give students the chance to develop their skills and spend their spare time in useful hobbies.
- Supervising and contributing to the establishment of specialized labs for different departments.
- Seeking local and international accreditation for different departments.
- Reviewing the scientific research plans in all departments of the Faculty.
- Creating communication channels between the Faculty and its graduates for mutual benefits that will be positively reflected on the society.
- Distributing the financial allocations of each department to provide for the requirements of the educational process.
