The College of Business Administration, represented by the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, organized a course entitled, 'Tourism: Between Marketing and Promotion'. The course was offered by Mr. Uqail bin Faisal Kidsah on Wednesday, 3 March 2021 A.C., at 6 p.m. The meeting was administered by the Head of the Department of Tourism and Hotel Management, Dr. Muhammad Baqadir. The course started with a speech by His Excellency the Dean of the College of Business Administration, Prof. Ihsan Al-Muataz.
Several themes were covered in the course, in which Mr. Uqail explained the importance of the tourism sector in developing the country. He emphasized the importance of marketing elements in creating a creative tourism environment. He also stressed the importance of the promotional process for tourism, as well as the importance of being patient with regard to building a tourism reputation for any location.
He concluded these topics by talking about the importance of building a clear hotel identity for hotels operating in this field. This is in order to build a competitive environment attractive to those who are targeted by the tourism marketing process.
