The University Medical Center activated the International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) for all the visitors of the center during the period 18–22 October, 2020 A.C. The IIPW activities include displaying awareness-raising content on all the visual screens in the University Medical Center, as well as promoting the culture of proper hand washing among all health personnel there, in line with the instructions of the World Health Organization, and providing them with electronic links to attend remote lectures and courses on the basics of infection control.
