The College of Computer and Information Systems congratulates its affiliates, academic staff members, and female students who won the first positions in the initiative entitled: "Virtually Enriching the Religious Experience in the Hajj and Umrah System". The results were announced by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research at Umm Al-Qura University. This initiative was conducted in collaboration with the UQU Vice Presidency for Female Student Affairs to provide ideas and solutions that serve the pilgrims and visitors of the Sacred Mosques.
The first position was gained for a project entitled, "Historical Guide for the Landmarks of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah". The third position was gained for a project entitled, "Beyond Al-Madinah: Android Application to Simulate Historical Events Using Augmented Reality", which was presented by the female students of the College of Computer and Information Systems.
All thanks are extended to the members of the two teams for participating and contributing in enriching the religious experience, and contributing in achieving the university's strategic plans and national goals in various development programs.
