Dr. Sultan bin Ayed Saad al-Buqami, Dean of the College of Business Administration, in collaboration with Dr. Hamza bin Ahmed Mahmoud Ghalman, Dean of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, held a meeting at the Institute’s headquarters on Tuesday 18th JumadaI 1438H. The meeting was attended by the vice deans of the Institute and the Head of the Department of Hajj & Umrah Business Administration. The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the College of Business Administration, as an academic entity, and The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research, as an inveterate research entity in the domains related to Hajj and Umrah.
The two sides agreed that such meeting would be the nucleus for upcoming meetings and integrated workshops among the College, Institute and stakeholders for the service of pilgrims. It is worth mentioning that the meeting was held with the aim of achieving KSA Vision 2030 concerning Hajj and Umrah services, qualifying Saudi cadres capable of working in such two sectors and raising the level of services. Moreover, the attendees commended the support and concern by the President of Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), Dr. Bakri bin Maatouq Assas, for UQU, and wished that mutual work and cooperation between the College and the Institute would be sophisticated to reach the desired goal thereof.
