Dr. Hawsawi: The Speech of King Salman Mirrored the Generous and Lauded Care of the Kingdom for Citizens and Residents

The Dean of the Colleges of Engineering and Computers in Al-Leith, Dr. Iskandar bin Muhammad Hawsawi, lauded the comforting speech delivered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (may Allah protect him), to the citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In his speech, His Excellency explained the consequent effects of the outbreak of the Novel Corona pandemic on the world, and the critical circumstances worldwide. He noted the loving care showed by the kingdom to citizens and residents, as well as humanity, in its totality. This care was reflected in his speech.

Moreover, Dr. Hawsawi stated that the danger posed by this virus should not discourage the believers, who truly rely on Allah, from hoping for Allah's help, emphasizing the importance of availing oneself of the available means and compliance with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in his speech, which reflected the transparency and sincerity of the Saudi Kingdom to overcome this pandemic.

Dr. Hawsawi also highlighted the emphasis laid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (may Allah protect Him), on the kingdom's continuous efforts to take all the needed precautionary measures, reinforced by raising the awareness of its citizens and residents, to overcome this pandemic.

Moreover, Dr. Hawsawi lauded the continuous support of His Excellency Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sheikh, Minister of Education, for the general and higher education. He also commended his care and support extended to the universities, colleges, and institutes, and all their academic programs and outputs, lauding the efforts of Umm Al-Qura University, under the supervision of His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Omar Bafail, President of Umm Al-Qura University, which include the precautionary and preventive plans, instruction and guidance services, and other qualitative services that aim to raise the awareness of the university and community staff by organizing programs, maintaining open communication channels, and providing educational messages and publications. Furthermore, he stressed the unparalleled continuous care and support extended by the UQU President and deans to the Colleges of Engineering and Computers in Al-Leith to support the educational, research and development processes and the community service programs provided by the colleges throughout the academic year.

The Dean of the Colleges of Engineering and Computers in Al-Leith, Dr. Iskandar bin Muhammad Hawsawi, in his name and on behalf of the deans, heads of the departments, and the affiliates of the two colleges, including the academic staff, administrative staff, and students, expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince (may Allah safeguard and support them) for their keenness in providing the needs of the honorable citizens and residents of the Saudi Kingdom to lead a good and decent life, underlining the great and highly appreciated efforts extended by all government sectors, foremost of which is the Ministry of Health and its employees. He also stressed their lauded efforts which mirrored the wise government’s keenness to support the kingdom and its citizens.

Lastly, His Excellency asked Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He) to protect the Saudi Kingdom, the rest of the world, and humanity as a whole, from all harm.
