Assuming their role in activating the development competitions that contribute to harnessing the capabilities of the UQU students and enhancing their skills in various sciences and technical fields, the Colleges of Computers and Engineering in Al-Leith launched the Council of Entrepreneurship, which seeks to find apt solutions for real-life problems and challenges. It also aims to develop the students' skills by adopting an approach that integrates science, technology, and entrepreneurship, and targets the students of the Colleges of Engineering and Computers at Al-Leith in particular, and the UQU students at Al-Leith branch in general.
On his part, the Dean of the Colleges of Engineering and Computers, Dr. Iskandar bin Muhammad Hawsawi, stressed that the entrepreneurship competitions aim to educate the students and harness their skills to develop the potentials of success in the field of entrepreneurship by disseminating the culture and concepts of innovation and creativity among them. This can be achieved by organizing and implementing a competition every year covering several activities inside and outside the college.
