The Vice Deanship of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies held a course at the library of the College of Shari`ah, entitled: “Advanced Word Skills”, on Thursday, 26 Jumada Al-Thani, 1441 A.H. The course was presented by Her Excellency Ms. Arwa Al-Halawani, at 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Her Excellency Ms. Arwa presented the explanation by asking questions to the students, such as: "Why did you choose to attend this course? Mention three characteristics that best describe you, one of which you do not possess." The course witnessed great interaction from the attendees.
Ms. Arwa then covered the subject matters of the course, which were as follows:
The course depended on a practical step-by-step application, and clarified some basic points to achieve professionalism in Word documents, such as selecting templates and patterns, to make it easy for the students to write a research paper or on any topic. It also explained how to use some sections, patterns, templates, and acronyms in Word documents, in order to save time and effort and obtain a good result.
At the end of the course, Her Excellency the Vice Dean of the College of Shari`ah and Islamic Studies, Prof. Nourah bint Muslim Al-Mahmadi, extended her thanks to the course presenter, expressed her hope that she would continue her distinguished contribution, and wished her more success.
