Under the leadership of Dr. Ahmad Al-Ahmady, a staff member delegation from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Umm Al-Qura University (UQU), paid a special visit to the Electricity Company. The delegation included Dr. Muhammad Sayyed Rizq, Dr. Muhammad Arshad Malik, Dr. Muhammad Al Al-Skeikh, Dr. Yaser Al-Hazimi, Dr. Abdullah Al-Jahni, Dr. Omar Hafiz and Dr. Ahmad Al-Ahmady.

The delegation was warmly received by Eng. Abdussalam Al- Omari (Head of the Maintenance Sector in the Western Region), Eng. Abdulwahab Al-Humaidan (Department Director), as well as the Department's managers, division heads and engineers. Both Eng. Al- Omari and Eng. Al-Humaidan were honored for their great efforts and continuous cooperation to train the Department's students. In addition, the next and continuing cooperation in research and studies at the Electrical Engineering Department was discussed. The discussion also involved how to take advantage of field visits by university students and staff members to the Company's facilities.
